Soil Association Certification Ltd is the UK's leading company which certifies organic food, produce and non-food products.  It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Soil Association membership charity. 

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in the food industry. You will have an understanding of the principles of organic food and farming and the certification processes involved.  

You will be responsible for the effective account management of a portfolio of businesses with a diverse range of organic processing systems, including our key organic manufacturers.  You will be dealing with all aspects of organic certification; the role will include an emphasis on more technical aspects of the sector you will be working in with a focus on development of that sector. 

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent experience, ideally in food technology, be an excellent relationship builder, highly organised and have an awareness of the commercial demands on food businesses.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy and a confident approach to service delivery and the ability to provide solutions within tight deadlines are essential.
