Soil Association Scotland is the Scottish office of the Soil Association, the UK's leading membership charity campaigning for healthy, humane and sustainable food, farming and land use.

 

We are looking for an Agricultural Development Manager to inspire, inform and empower farmers and growers to implement best management practices for sustainable and profitable agriculture, based on organic, low input and low carbon principles. You will do this by delivering a series of well-researched, practical events focusing on knowledge transfer.

 

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of farming and growing, and of organic principles as well as an interest in current agricultural policy and research. Experience of partnership building across a range of stakeholders and of organising and delivering events is required, as are data collection and analysis skills. You will be a confident communicator and public speaker.
