Food for Life Partnership Commissioning Manager - London
Fixed term contract until 31 March 2013
Minimum 3 days a week
£32,907 pro rata

We are building a team of Commissioning Managers to secure local commissions for the Food for Life Partnership across England, and are looking for a confident and experienced person to join us to cover the London area. As a self-starter you will be expected to build relationships at a senior level with local authorities and public health bodies to create and build on potential opportunities to get FFLP commissioned.

With substantial project management experience working in public health, schools or local authorities, as well as experience of commissioning you will have excellent communication and presentation skills that you’ll use to sell the benefits of FFLP and expand our programme.

The Food for Life Partnership brings together the expertise of four food-focused charities. During the last five years we have engaged over 4,000 schools across England. The task now is to move away from grant funding to service provider, and we have just been awarded a further grant of £1million from BIG to support this transition.
