			<title>St Jerome’s Field community growing project, Tay valley</title>
			<description>&lt;p&gt;The Soil Association Land Trust exists to safeguard farmland and  currently owns four organic farms in the South West of England. So its  recently acquired eight-acre field in Perthshire, Scotland was something  of an anomaly amongst these 100-acre traditional farms. However, it has  shown how a local community can take food production right back into  the heart of a village.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

			<title>Schmallenberg Virus briefing from the National Sheep Association</title>
			<description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana"&gt;As we approach the month of March when the bulk of our flocks lamb, Schmallenberg virus has now been confirmed by Defra AHVLA to have been found on 83 farms in England. The first cases were identified in the counties of East Sussex, Suffolk, and Norfolk but the last week has seen cases emerge in Wiltshire, Cornwall, Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Isle of Wight,and Gloucestershire. We contacted Phil Stocker, Chief Executive at the National Sheep Association who provided us with the following information on the virus and best practice advice.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
