Schools

We have been helping schools create a healthy food culture in their community for many years now. We want young people to understand where food comes from and how the choices they make have an effect of their health and the health of the planet.

Practical food education

To make the link from farm to fork, practical food education like cooking, growing and farms visits is the key to success. We wants families and schools to get involved and create opportunities for learning more about food and farming.

School meals - an educational experience

We want schools to serve meals made from fresh, seasonal, local and organic ingredients. Since 2003, we've been actively campaigning on a national level and were key in the school meals revolution that resulted in the formation of the School Food Trust and nutritional standards for school meals.

Food for Life Partnership

Our Soil Association led Food for Life Partnership helps schools transform their food culture. Find out how we can help your school to get growing, cooking and eating fresh, seasonal, local & organic food and linking up with a local farm - plus award you for these achievements.
