Supporting farmers, growers and other organic businesses

The Soil Association provides support to organic businesses across the UK through a wide range of services, including technical support, practical advice, market information and development programmes.

We provide practical advice and support to a diverse range of businesses, including farmers, growers, primary processors, food manufacturers and retailers, to help them put organic principles into practice.

We also provide support to organic businesses through our policy representation work, where we seek to lobby government to secure policies and regulations that are favourable to those businesses that are working to organic principles.

Our aims? To help organic businesses at all levels to thrive in mutually beneficial trading relationships, where organic food is available to all - produced and processed as locally as possible.
