Become a host farm
For farmers and growers who struggle to find committed, enthusiastic and passionate staff, with experience of working on organic holdings, a Soil Association Organic Apprentice can be the answer.
The Apprenticeship Scheme has been established to train the next generation of farmers and growers so that we have the skilled workforce required to meet the demands of a growing organic farming sector.
We are looking for more farmers and growers to become hosts for the Organic Apprenticeship Scheme.
As a host farmer or grower you will provide:
- Full time paid employment for two years (this can be split between farms)
- Weekly mentoring for your apprentice
- A wide range of farming or growing experience
- A supportive and learning environment
