When and where should we deliver our samples for the judging?

You will be sent a delivery schedule at the beginning of July. In the meantime, please be prepared to send your products on the following dates:

  • Ambient products - to be sent to the Soil Association, South Plaza, Marlborough Street, Bristol, BS1 3NX, to arrive between Monday 8 and Friday 12 July 2013
  • Fresh products - to be sent to the Duke of Cambridge pub, 30 St Peter’s Street, Islington, London, N1 8JT between Monday 15 and Thursday 18 July (an exact delivery date for each category will be advised according to the judging schedule, to ensure that your entry is delivered and judged as fresh as possible).
  • Box Scheme samples - finalists will be asked to submit a regular/medium sized sample box for the final judging, to be held in Bristol in July (exact judging date to be advised).

Please label each package clearly with storage instructions, either ambient, chilled or frozen. Products should arrive between 9.00am and 5.00pm on the days indicated in the delivery table. For some fresh food categories, specific latest delivery times are given in the delivery table, so please pay particular attention to these.

If you have entered both ambient and fresh products you may wish to send all products directly to the judging venue; however please make us aware, so we know not to expect delivery of the ambient products to Bristol.
