Abundant Earth CSA, Durham

Established in 2006, we manage 15 acres of land just 2 miles from Durham City. We run a CSA style box scheme for local residents, currently supplying 40 customers in the area with veg, salad, fruit and eggs. We also run courses in woodland crafts, green building methods, composting, permaculture, organic gardening and willow crafts. We are involved in the local permaculture network and transition group.   For more information contact Wilf Richards

Weardale CSA

We are cultivating two plots of land in Weardale and members will pay a monthly Food Share subscription to receive a share of the harvest. It is also possible for people to support the CSA by  becoming a member without receiving a Food Share. We are set up as a CIC (Community Interest Company) co-operative.   The company is owned by the membership and every member has one vote at general meetings. A Board of Directors is elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting. Other members can also contribute to the running of the activities by joining a sub-group or helping at events.
