Job description
Trill Farm has a small soap & natural beauty product manufacturing workshop that uses farm produced herbs to create a range of seasonal products. Your role will be to make our own brand range to current formulas, to make soaps to contract, and occasional assisting in the development of new product lines. This job is for an individual who relishes the challenge of running their own workshop, enjoys working with precision to high quality control, is self motivated, able to work on their own, and able to cope with heavy work. No soap making experience is necessary, full training will be given.
Key responsibilities
To manufacture products ready for sale and shipping in line with annual plan and ethical and environmental ethos of Trill Farm.
To ensure all products are produced within the criteria set by Trill Farm and conform to legal requirements and quality control.
To maintain systems, keep all product batch sheets and maintain all legal and organic data necessary.
Implement and maintain good systems of stock control and ordering.
Co-ordinate production, with orders, packaging and deliveries.
To help manage members of staff and contractors employed to assist with product manufacturing.
To record all manufacturing and progress in a weekly report sent to Director
Work closely with Product Co-Ordinator.
Occasional assistance on new product development.
