Organic market gardener wanted for community project in Margate, Kent

Windmill Community Allotment is looking for someone to grow vegetables on our 1 acre market garden for sale to our vegetable box scheme and local restaurants.

Some supervision, training and crop plans etc are available, but the ability to work alone day to day and to supervise volunteer and work placements is needed.

Initial contract for 1 year, full time for 8 months, then potential of 2 days a week in winter. £17,500-£20,202 pro rata.

We are talking to the Soil Association about the potential for this post to be offered as a Future Grower traineeship.
