Food for Life Scotland

Transforming food culture and food systems across Scotland

Food for Life Scotland, a flagship programme of Soil Association Scotland, works in partnership to transform food culture and food systems across the country; so we can eat food that is good for us, our communities and our planet.

We work with food producers, suppliers, catering services, policy makers and Scotland’s local authorities to link food culture, catering, curriculum and communities.

The programme is funded by the Scottish Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

Food for Life Scotland has three key areas of work:

  1. The Food for Life Catering Mark
  2. The Food for Life Education and Engagement Framework
  3. Sustainable Food Cities Model
