Become a host farm

With over 500 potential trainees and apprentices on our waiting list for the Future Growers scheme, we are now taking applications from growers to become host farms in 2013.

Our host farms tell us they benefit from committed and passionate staff, bringing fresh ideas and energy, who have the potential to become valuable long term members of your team.

As a host grower you will provide:

  • full time paid employment (paid by you according to AWO)
  • regular mentoring
  • a wide range of growing experience
  • a supportive learning environment

Future Growers scheme offers two placement opportunities:

  Traineeship Apprenticeship
Length of paid employment 6 months minimum 2 years
Mentoring 2 hours a month 4 hours a month

Deadline

We recommend that you get your application to us as soon as posible, for our spring 2013 intake as trainees and apprentices should ideally be in post for the seminars which will start in April 2013.
