Become a host farm
With over 500 potential trainees and apprentices on our waiting list for the Future Growers scheme, we are now taking applications from growers to become host farms in 2013.
Our host farms tell us they benefit from committed and passionate staff, bringing fresh ideas and energy, who have the potential to become valuable long term members of your team.
As a host grower you will provide:
- full time paid employment (paid by you according to AWO Workers Grade 1-6 rates). Please note that the rates listed in the AWO for trainees and apprentices do not apply to this scheme)
- regular mentoring
- a wide range of growing experience
- a supportive learning environment
Future Growers scheme offers two placement opportunities:
|Length of paid employment
||6 months minimum
||2 hours a month
||4 hours a month|
