CANCELLED. Unfortunately this field lab has been cancelled.

This field lab has been designed to take some of the open pollinated varieties available to non-organic growers and trial them in organic systems with a view to either creating a demand for them organically or saving them on farm for use in subsequent year.

10.00 – 10.30am: Arrival and tea / coffee

10.30 – 10.50am: Welcome and introduction - Ben Raskin, Soil Association

10.50 – 11.30am: Feedback from trialists

11.30am – 12.00pm: The researchers’ view – Looking at the highlights of the year, giving feedback on areas that would improve the trials. For example, better methods of recording results, improving the photography etc.

12.00 - 1.00pm: Lunch

1.00 – 2.00pm: Farm walk at Daylesford Organic Farm – Jez Taylor, Daylesford

2.00 – 2.30pm: Review and planning the trials for 2014
