The morning sessions at these events will look at calculating the size of heating system required, fuel availability, quality, storage RHI, planning permission & a farmer’s practical perspective on commissioning a boiler system and running a wood chip business. The day will also include a visit to a working biomass unit on a local farm.
The cost is £40.00 plus VAT.

The Organic Research Centre Agroforestry Programme is conducting a survey to find out the extent to which UK producers are currently using the woody components on their land. This will allow them to gain an understanding of current farmland wood usage and gauge whether there is potential for producers to gain more from the woody elements on their land, both financially and ecologically. They are hoping to reach a wide range of producers both organic and non-organic.
