Opportunity In Taiwan For UK Organic Product Suppliers

We have today received the following information from Defra detailing potential organic product sales in Taiwan. A Taiwanese company is looking for organic food and cosmetic products for its retail shops.

The information note below has been received from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), a joint body run by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills.  UKTI’s remit is developing UK overseas trade.

The Taiwanese company is a R&D-based biopharmaceutical company, one of its business arms operates a renown organic retail brand - Cotton Land in Taiwan which has 40 shops and is expected to expand to 100 shops by the end of 2012. Apart from Cotton Land, the Company is planning to launch an Organic Mega Market in mid 2012 and is keen to introduce well-known organic brands into Taiwan.
