Grassland event in May offers 'best-practice' advice

01 March 2010

Organic and non-organic livestock farmers are invited to a free event which will provide the latest advice on 'best practice' organic grassland management techniques to help get the most from pastures.

This free all-day event, which takes place on Wednesday 19 May 2010 at Barrington Park Village Hall, Burford, Oxford, will focus on short term fertility building leys, as well as novel techniques - including legumes and forage grazing. The event will highlight the wide-ranging benefits and efficiencies of organic grassland managment to all farmers.

Delegates can expect presentations from a number of expert speakers, as well as a practical farm walk and discussion - plus the opportunity to speak to leading trade representatives throughout the day.

This event is free but booking is essential (refreshments and an organic lunch provided).

For more information - or to book your place - call Hellen or Sandra on 08706 091840 or email brpevents@eblex.org.uk
