Soil Association represented at Young Farmers AGM

Tim Perrett from the Producer Support team and an active Young Farmer has been invited by the National Federation of Young Farmers ARAC – Agriculture Rural Affairs Committee to attend and get audience involvement for their forthcoming Explore the Future Food Chain at their AGM in Torquay this April – please see poster below.
S.A. Council’s Vice Chair and Yeo Valley Director of Communication Graham Keating is a headline speaker along with a very special guest known to the majority of U.K. farmers!
Tim commented:
“It’s great for the Soil Association to have a closer involvement with the Young Farmer movement, as much of our work looks at the sustainable future of agriculture and its clear young farmers will play an important part in delivering this.
We will aim to show our belief that organic farming is just common sense farming which everyone can engage with. I know the majority of young farmers have seen and probably danced to the
Yeo Valley songs, so I’m really pleased that Graham is coming along to tell everyone Yeo’s story and how a positive attitude and approach can really make a difference - it has certainly put dairy farmers in a different light!"
