The Food for Life Partnership needs your vote!

09 June 2010

The Food for Life Partnership has just been nominated for the National Lottery Awards 2010 and needs your vote to make it through to the final round.

It’s one of only 10 projects to make it through to the semi-finals in the 'Best Health Project' category. The winning project in each category of the National Lottery Awards will receive national recognition on a star-studded BBC 1 TV show later this year.

Voting for the semi-finals starts at 9am on Tuesday 1 June and ends midday on Friday 18 June. The three projects with the most votes will go through to the final round of public voting in July.

The Food for Life Partnership is a network of more than 2,000 schools and communities across England committed to transforming food culture. Together we’re revolutionising school meals, reconnecting young people with farms and inspiring families to cook and grow food. Winning this award would help us raise much-needed awareness of our vital work – so please take a moment to vote for us!

The initiative is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and led by the Soil Association, bringing together the practical expertise of the Focus on Food Campaign, Garden Organic and the Health Education Trust.
