Congratulations to Growing Communities

Congratulations to Growing Communities, a vegetable box scheme based in Hackney and run by volunteers producing most of its food locally, which was named Retailer of the Year in this year's Observer Food Monthly Awards.

Tamarind Falk, Community Foods' Certification Officer said "I am delighted to see that Growing Communities have won 'retailer of the year' in the Observer Food Monthly's award, announced last week. Their work is truly inspiring and I always enjoy working with them. I'm pleased that through gaining this award, even more people will learn about what they do - and hopefully be inspired, too.  Congratulations!"
