Waltham Place

Waltham Place is a 56 hectare estate comprising farmland, woodland and orchards, with landscaped and ornamental gardens. The entire estate is managed organically. The farm itself makes up 40 ha and includes a kitchen garden.

As well as organic vegetables, there is a small herd of Jersey and Guernsey milking cows, a flock of Jacob and castlemilk moorit sheep, Berkshire and Tamworth pigs, and laying hens, plus a small herd of bagot goats. The extensive walled gardens produce a wide range of seasonal vegetables and salad crops. There are also ornamental gardens, a potager and butterfly garden. The farm produces and processes bread, butter, yoghurt and sausages, selling them at local farmers' markets, along with vegetables from the kitchen garden.
