Grow Your Own: April Gardening

Are you new to vegetable growing? Or are you taking on a new allotment, growing new crops, or just want to take your skills to another level? The Daylesford courses focus on core principles of designing a growing space, preparing the site, crop selection, sowing seed, propagation and pest avoidance. The April course provides a guide to growing organically in small spaces and containers; and best techniques for this month’s focus crops: peas, lettuce, spring onions, turnips, beetroot and other baby vegetables.
Cost: £30 including refreshments, course notes and a free tray of plant plugs.
