Head Gardener, Beatrice Krehl, leads a day to explore the link between garden and nature. The day starts with an introduction to Naturalistic Gardening looking at its history and influences.Tours of the Waltham Place gardens focus on choosing the right plants for your soil and situation, maintenance and development of plantings as well as the creation and use of leafmoulds, composts and mulches. An excellent course for anyone wishing to garden organically, in harmony with the native plants and wildlife in their garden.
