Thai feast

Starts: 23 February 2013 10:00
Ends: 23 February 2013 16:00

Occombe Cookery School, Occombe Farm, Preston Down Road, Paignton TQ3 1RN

Punchy red chillies, sweetness of palm sugar and coconut, flavourful soy and fish sauces, fresh zestiness of lemon grass and limes. Hot, sweet, salty and sour - these are the flavours of Thailand.

This cooking course is full of bright and warming flavours for the cold winter days and the perfect antidote to the winter blues!

As we explore the principles of Thai cooking we'll prepare everything we need to cook Thai fish cakes with chilli dipping sauce, homemade spring rolls, hot and sour soup, pad Thai noodles, green and red curries with rice and green papaya salad. We'll end with a sweet dessert, a perfect end to a spicy Thai meal!

Holly and her husband David spent time travelling through Thailand and southeast Asia and during this workshop you will be cooking and eating the fantastic recipes that they have brought back with them.

Cost: £65, includes lunch
