Drawing and sketching animals from life

Eva Dutton has been drawing, painting and sculpting animals from life for many years and is passionate about life drawing. She recently published "Drawing and Painting Horses” showing her personal approach to life drawing.
This course aims at helping beginners as well as advanced artists to capture movement and the personality of the animal. Material needed includes sketch pads, pencils, pens or any medium that you feel comfortable with and a board to rest on.
Bring warm clothes for working in a barn or outside (see our website to see our magnificent Highland Cattle and other potential animal subjects) …. or our animal subjects could be basking in front of the fire in The BALES sanctuary.
Hot drinks, organic soup and home made bread will be provided.
