This seminar is an introduction to keeping organic poultry. It will look at the principles of organic poultry production, health planning, feeding and nutrition, housing and land management, breed choices and marketing options.
Tutor Pammy Riggs has been a hands-on farmer and small-scale food producer for over 20 years. She firmly believes in prioritising the highest welfare standards in all aspects of practical poultry keeping.
This seminar is part of the Soil Association Organic Apprenticeship Scheme but is open to all.
