This seminar is an introduction to weed, pest and disease control in organic horticulture.
The day will look at approaches to limit pests and disease and the cultural, biological and chemical controls available within organic systems. It will also cover management techniques to limit weeds and subsequent methods of control.
There will be a classroom session, farm walk and a delicious organic lunch.
The day will based at Riverford’s Wash Farm in Buckfastleigh.
This seminar is part of the Soil Association Organic Apprenticeship Scheme but is open to all.
