This thin material is strong and bio-friendly. Made from corn starch this black film prevents light reaching the soil so preventing the growth of weeds. It also provides much needed early season heat retention.

Maize Mulch is 100% Biodegradable and is the prefect alternative to plastic with it’s environmental and disposability problems, any remaining mulch at end of season can be just dug into the soil. Maize mulch is Organic and will degrade between 4 – 8 months. It is 18gm psm weight and conforms to the European En13432 standard
