Organics for Kids was established by Jane Shepherd in 2004. The aim was to create a high-quality, well-designed childrenswear brand, based on an ethical and transparent supply chain. We remain a small company, passionate about what we do and we love working with a whole network of like-minded people - our partners. We work with local people whenever we can, from the brilliant people in Nottingham who manufacture our entire range to the designers who work on our textile prints, and the printers who work on our catalogue - most of them a stone's throw away from us. All of these partnerships make our business what it is and result in what we think is a stunning, locally conceived and made collection. Our cotton comes from two Turkish suppliers with whom we work closely, and our entire supply chain - from field to finished product - is carefully monitored as part of our Soil Association organic certification. In an increasingly global economy, we still believe that small can be great.
