Opened in 1998 by Geetie Singh, The Duke of Cambridge remains the only UK gastropub to gain Soil Association certification.
Serving delicious seasonal, organic food, the pub is a pioneer in the field of sustainable eating. 90% of its fresh produce comes from within 100 miles of its base in North London. They buy their wild sea fish directly from fishing fleets that use the most sustainable methods, and buy the whole catch so nothing is discarded. Their shellfish and seafood are sustainably sourced and their organically farmed salmon and trout are certified by the Soil Association.
An extensive wine list unearths some rarities from organic and biodynamic vintners and the range of beers comes from local artisan brewers.
