The role of bio-diversity in food production systems"

The horticultural growing unit at Hardwick has been established since 1988. It is the longest running organic horticultural stock free unit in the UK and is run by the Tolhurst family. Iain Tolhurst has been an active grower since 1976 developing a “whole systems approach” to vegetable production. He will explain how this system works and how ordinary gardeners can benefit from adopting similar methods.
