Farming and growing opportunities created by the Land Trust
The Soil Association is in the process of forming a Land Trust which aims to protect organic and 'special land' for sustainable food production. The Trust will provide an opportunity for landowners and producers to carry forward their life's work in perpetuity, safe in the knowledge that their land will:
- Continue to be farmed sustainably
- Protect sitting tenants
- Give opportunities for communities and new farming entrants to become involved in organic farming and growing
