When Amy worked in publishing, she studied horticulture and experimented with vegetable growing in her allotment.
"Le Manoir taught me a lot about the practicalities of vegetable growing and how a kitchen garden works, in terms of planning and communicating with chefs,” says Amy.
"My dream is to run my own kitchen garden. But my immediate plan is to gather as much practical experience as possible. I’ll do this by growing produce for a restaurant, learning about flavour, texture and growing techniques that push the boundaries of what we can create from a culinary perspective."
