The LIAISON (Linking Actors, Instruments and Policies through Networks) project aims to make a significant and meaningful contribution to optimising interactive innovation project approaches and the delivery of EU policies to speed up innovation in agriculture, forestry and rural areas.
Better Rural Innovation: Linking Actors, Instruments and Policies through Networks
Funded through the EU Horizon 2020 program, the three-year LIAISON project will produce practice-ready methods and tools for optimising the use of the interactive innovation approach in projects funded within the framework of the EIP-AGRI – and beyond.
LIASON involves a wide range of researchers, policy advisors, actors from interactive innovation projects, initiatives and networks, farm/forestry advisors, decision makers across the EU to investigate the design and implementation of interactive project approaches.
Key outputs will include:
- A series of in-depth, hands-on ‘How To’ Guides for fostering co-creation and co-learning when working with interactive innovation projects (e.g. innovation support services)
- Policy Briefs on improving the institutional environment for interactive innovation projects (e.g. for RDP Managing Authorities) implementing the EIP-AGRI at national / regional level
- Videos and other communication materials presenting good practices in the planning and implementation of interactive innovation projects
All of the above – and more – will be made available through a web-based Interactive Innovation Tool Box.
EU Rural Innovation Contest
We are looking for farmers, foresters and agri-food initiatives with a success story to share!
The LIAISON project has launched a competition to seek out innovative, inspiring and ground-breaking initiatives from within farming, forestry and the agri-food supply chain. We are particularly interested in partnerships that bring together diverse expertise from collaborating partners with different backgrounds.
A jury of experts will select 15 Rural Innovation Ambassadors to receive international recognition, networking opportunities, personalised promotional material to use for future engagement and aninvitation to join a prestigious award ceremony in autumn 2019. All Rural Innovation Ambassadors also receive a movie about their project.
The contest is open for entries until 15 March 2019!
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 773418.
