GREATsoils
From 2015-2018 The Growing Resilient Efficient and Thriving GREATsoils (CP 107b) project brought growers together to test how they can improve the health of their soils through assessing methods of soil testing, and via a programme of knowledge exchange.
The GREATsoils programme is funded by AHDB Horticulture and is continuing with other projects, see more here. Our project CP 107b Growing Efficient and thriving GREATsoils was run by a consortium which included Earthcare Technical Ltd, The Organic Research Centre and The Soil Association.
Over the 3 years, the programme included a series of practical workshops along with a number of field trials and field labs. We saw 755 attendees at 56 live events for growers, farmers and advisors, demonstrating that growers are keen to improve soil health.
Take a look at these blogs, webinars, guides and videos to see how the growers got on and discover what they learned from the project and, more importantly, each other.
