About the opportunity
It’s an exciting time at the Soil Association, we have ambitious plans to increase our impact. Making sure millions more people to eat better food in schools, nurseries, hospitals and care homes; and helping thousands more farmers to improve farming practices. Our fundraising team and strategy is at the heart of our ambitions and organisation. We are investing in our fundraising capacity to generate the income we need. Without you and your talent and passion for fundraising, we cannot make the changes in the world that are so desperately needed.

Your role
In this new role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with trusts and foundations giving at the five and six figure level. You will work with fundraising colleagues and project managers to develop high-quality, compelling proposals and reports for funders. Your focus will be to significantly increase our income from trusts and foundations.

About you
You will have substantial experience of building and managing partnerships with trusts and foundations, and/or institutional and statutory funders, and in nurturing relationships delivering the highest level of donor care. You will also bring a strong knowledge of the UK trusts and foundations field; an understanding of budgets; and experience of CRM databases.
