AECS and Pains with ScotFWAG: Getting to Grips with Agri-Environment Schemes

AECS and Pains

Wednesday 29 November 2017, 1.30-4pm
Monzie Farm, Blair Atholl PH18 5TT

Muddled by your moorland management plan? Wondering about wader grazed grassland? Or just pure scunnered by species rich grassland? Are you trying to get to grips with AECS, or wondering how managing your land differently could impact production?

This event will look at ‘win-win’ situations, where agri-environmental management can benefit both wildlife and production. We will also spend time exploring some of the practicalities and challenges associated with applying for and managing land under an AECS scheme. Bring your draft plans along on the day for discussion with our experts from the newly relaunched ScotFWAG

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available.

Free of charge to farmers, crofters and land managers. Booking is essential as places are limited. Booking can be done online or by emailing or calling Jane on 0131 666 2474.

Funding is provided through SRDP Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Fund (which is jointly funded by the Scottish Government and the European Union) with partner funding from Scottish Water and RSPB Scotland and Farm Advisory Service. (This event is part of a wider KTIF programme, Farming With Nature.)
