Talking coastal farming with David Eagle
Today we launch our second Farm Walks podcast!
The series, hosted by Soil Association Head of Horticulture Ben Raskin, is designed to given listeners a unique glimpse in farming in the UK.
In the most recent episode, Ben went to Kirby-le-Soken to visit coastal farmer David Eagle.
Due to its location, Devereux Farm faces a long-term threat from rising sea level. To get around this challenge, David has put himself at the forefront of innovation by pioneering the cultivation of a hardy berry-producing plant called sea buckthorn.
To learn more about life on Devereux Farm and this multi-purpose crop, check out the podcast which is available on iTunes, Soundcloud and Acast.
