Angus Oliphant - Miniscoff
No rockets, no scientists
How did Miniscoff get started?
We all want our kids to have the best childhood, fuelled with proper, honest food. But when time is tight, you need an alternative you can really, really trust. Our handmade organic meals are chock full of the wholesome, natural goodness they need. No more, no less. That’s how Miniscoff got started. The thought of some tasty, home-cooked meals always at your fingertips. No hassle, no guilt - just happy, healthy kids.
Having trained in design, I spent ten years working in the communications and advertising world trying to dress up all sorts of brands and products in meaningful and personable ‘clothing’. Miniscoff was my ‘Ronseal’ moment – here was a product that did exactly what it said on the ‘tin’, tasted great and delivered huge benefits to children, mums and dads and the world around us too. What’s not to like?”
Brought up in the countryside in a home where growing your own fruit and veg and cooking from fresh was the norm, I took ‘proper’, wholesome food for granted – and I’ve always been keen for my children to have the same advantage!Angus Oliphant - owner & co-founder
We decided to source top-quality organic ingredients to make tasty, nutritional kids’ ready meals that parents could trust. With all our meat and dairy sourced only from British farms. Our meals are made in small batches by hand exactly as you would at home. We’ve proved convenience doesn’t need to be a dirty word.
Whatever your stance on the health or taste advantages, the benefits of organic are much more fundamental… It’s simply about common sense and trust. Most people accept the more natural and less adulterated our diet the better.
Being certified organic not only ensures we know where our ingredients come from, but that they were grown and produced as naturally as possible and to the highest standards of welfare and sustainability.
