Reduce Antibiotic Use On Your Farm

As antibiotic resistance reaches crisis point we are all worried about how to tackle antibiotic use before it is too late. A new report from the Alliance to Save Our Antibiotics shows that British livestock farmers continue to reduce their antibiotic use, but need support from supermarkets and policy-makers to reduce them further. The report highlights the major differences between different farming systems and the impact it is having on antibiotic resistance. In one of the first studies of it's kind, the Alliance identifies certain key areas that are helping to combat antibiotic use on farms that can be applied to any farm to reduce antibiotic use.
