Good Food On Plates
We're helping to put good food on plates in schools, care homes, organisations, businesses and restaurants across Scotland
The Food for Life Programme
An integral part of the Food for Life Scotland programme is the Food for Life Served Here award, a unique award which helps the organisations we work with transform their menus to ensure diners eat freshly prepared, ethically and often locally sourced and in some cases organic, environmentally sustainable food that’s free from undesirable additives and better for animal welfare.
Find out who has the award in Scotland.
Organic Living in Scotland
We also work to help people produce, buy, sell and dine organic across Scotland. Find out more about organic living.
Sustainable food places
We support places around Scotland to come together to form a food partnerships to promote sustainable food in their local area. To do this we encourage places to join the Sustainable Food Cities (SFC) Network.
Working with Food Matters and Sustain, SFC brings together public, private and third sector organisations that believe promoting sustainable food can drive positive change in our communities. SFC is a tried and tested model which involves places forming partnerships, embedding health and sustainable food in policy and developing and delivering a food strategy and action plan.
