New research project with Food for Life Scotland

Research Tender Opportunity with FFLS

Help us understand how Scottish local authorities are making a positive environmental impact with Food for Life.

Food for Life Scotland (FFLS) aims to make good food the easy choice for everyone. ‘Good food’ is food that is good for your health, good for the environment, and good for the economy.

With fifteen Scottish local authorities now declaring a climate emergency, it is more important than ever to understand how the food we eat impacts our environment. Food for Life Scotland is tendering for a new research project to better understand how Scottish local authorities are making a positive environmental impact by holding the Food for Life Served Here award for their school meals.

Researchers are invited to explore the following question:

How is the Food for Life Served Here award helping local authorities in their efforts to tackle the climate emergency?

Individuals, collaborators and organisations can read the full tender document, submit their interest and tender through Public Contracts Scotland (Ref No DEC375621).
