Farm water management (SFIN)

This is a half-day event looking at effective and innovative farm water management, on an award-winning farm which successfully combines wildlife conservation with a productive and sustainable farming business. We will discuss a range of topics and see practical examples of:

  • Runoff capture and filtration using ponds & wetland areas
  • Field corner filter areas
  • Seasonal grazing of wetland areas
  • The myriad benefits of planting (and managing) trees & hedgerows
  • Available support and associated challenges

There will also be time for discussion over coffee and cake. As this event runs over lunchtime please bring a packed lunch.
