Producer Certification Officer, Soil Association Certification (Scotland)

 

Abi is our Edinburgh-based certification officer, providing certification and business support to our organic farmers and growers in Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the north of England.

Abi can help anyone interested in becoming an organic farmer or grower in the north!

Abi joined the team in October 2015, having spent the previous seven months as a volunteer ranger with the National Trust in the Lake District.

In recent years she has gained further experience of practical farming, conservation, and enterprise, continuing to learn at every opportunity.

Abi worked on a National Trust 700 acre fell farm, with tenants rearing traditional breeds and selling their own beef, hogget and mutton.
