Catering Mark Project Manager
I look after Catering Mark Support, which is available to caterers in all sectors. The support is designed to help caterers meet and embed better standards across their business from the technical nitty gritty, to staff engagement.
Previous experience of working in cafes and restaurants, serving fresh food using good quality, sustainable ingredients has shown me how very challenging it can be to meet high standards, but so worth it.
Best Catering Mark moment
One of my most rewarding days was working with a groups of chefs from the care charity, Milestone Trust, who were undergoing a course of practical skills training and professional development. I was brought in for a training session on food sustainability and since the course, many sites have gone on to achieve the Food for Life Catering Mark, with one now at Gold.
