Max grew up on a small holding in the Wye Valley. Looking after sheep, pigs, chickens, bees and a large kitchen garden at home inspired Max to study Agriculture at The University of Nottingham. While studying Max worked during the summer on arable, root crop and soft fruit farms. On the weekend Max is often found rock climbing in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean.
