Penpont, Powys

Penpont is a Grade 1 listed building and is one of the finest houses in The Brecon Beacons National Park. The house was built in 1666, the descendants still live there today, and it is the centre piece of a working rural estate. It is surrounded by a remarkable group of buildings including a chapel, an unusual dower house, stables, workshops, dovecote on stilts and a dome shaped conservatory.

Adeilad rhestredig Gradd I yw Penpont ac un o'r tai harddaf ym Mharc Cenedlaethol Bannau Brycheiniog. Codwyd y tŷ yn 1666, mae'r disgynyddion yn dal i fyw yno heddiw, ac mae'n ganolbwynt i ystâd wledig weithredol. O'i gwmpas y mae sawl adeilad nodedig gan gynnwys capel, tŷ agweddi (dower house) anarferol, stablau, gweithdai, colomendy ar goesau, ac ystafell wydr siâp cromen.
