We offer a range of specialised services designed to support businesses to meet forestry and timber regulations. These regulations encompass a broad range of timber-related products, including pulp and paper.
DDS certification
We are recognised by the UK Competent Authority as a UKTR Monitoring Organisation, and provide due diligence systems (DDS) for operators in the UK.
We offer a comprehensive package including training, a DDS toolkit, auditing and certification.
Although we don't hold Monitoring Organisation status in the EU, we provide a similar service for businesses in the EU. This service is tailored to ensure compliance with EUTR.
Get ready for the EUDR
Whether you're a forest operator or a business sourcing commodities like wood, soya, cocoa, coffee, cattle, palm oil or rubber, the EUDR affects you. We offer resources and training to help you prepare.
Verification of Legal Compliance (VLC)
VLC certification assures your customers that the products you are sourcing meet the relevant national laws.
It also confirms that all documents to do with legal production of forest risk commodities are valid.
We offer VLC for both forest management and supply chains. These are adaptable to local standards, including for agricultural products.
Trade Association Partnership for UKTR
We are the exclusive auditor of the Timber Development UK (TDUK) Responsible Purchasing Policy (RPP).
We lead on due diligence best practice, with ongoing auditing and training for operators.
We assess the due diligence systems of TDUK members every year, provide feedback and guidance to drive continuous improvement for the industry, and work to create a level playing field for all operators.
