Organic Chickens

Certified organic holding near Ledbury, Herefordshire (Soil Association) seeks 200 organically reared layer pullets for delivery ASAP, to be under 18 weeks of age on arrival.

Breed flexible — Black Rock, Hebden Black, Cotswold Legbar or similar brown hybrid layers all suitable.

I can be flexible on the placement date, and I'm happy to take a part order or split the order across more than one supplier if that helps. This is a new free-range organic egg enterprise with repeat placements expected, so I'd welcome contact from rearers with organic supply coming forward even if you can't meet this particular date.
