The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) is a complex and evolving piece of legislation that will require companies to demonstrate that their products are free from deforestation. This self-paced online course covers all EUDR commodities, and is suitable for individuals at all knowledge levels, from beginner to expert. It is for:

The EUDR covers seven key commodities: coffee, cocoa, natural rubber, palm oil, soya, cattle and beef, and timber.
Course structure
Our hybrid course combines an e-learning foundation module with two days of workshop time with our EUDR experts. By completing the foundation training before the in-person workshop, you can grasp EUDR’s key requirements at your own pace. You will develop your knowledge further during the in-person training, through deep dive presentations, discussions and group exercises.
EUDR foundation e-learning
To enable you to gain foundational understanding prior to the main course, we have developed a dedicated e-learning module that will introduce key EUDR topics. Access to the e-learning is provided at least one month prior to the main course start date. The e-learning will take approximately 3-5 hours to complete, depending on how familiar you are with EUDR subject matter.
EUDR workshop
The live course is delivered over two consecutive days, and divided into a series of taught modules, group exercises, and Q&A sessions. Class sizes are small to encourage active participation. As a trainee you will be given the opportunity to discuss technical challenges, specific scenarios, and practical approaches to implementation. Live courses are either online or in-person.
